How I Plan My Week Without Overthinking Everything

Let me be honest with you for a second…

I do not have some perfectly planned, color-coded life 😅

Not even close.

But I also don’t completely wing it either.

I’ve kind of found myself somewhere in the middle…
and honestly? That’s what works for me.

My mornings are pretty structured.

I get up relax for a bit, than grab my coffee, and head to my laptop.

That’s where I work on my content, create my images, plan out my week, and start building my recipes.

That usually takes me until around 10 or 11:30…

and then I head into my other “office”… the kitchen.

That’s where I get creative.

Afternoons?

They’re a bit more relaxed.

Sometimes I nap.
Sometimes I keep working.
Sometimes I just sit and recharge.

Because I’ve learned the hard way…

If I don’t plan for rest, I burn out.

When it comes to actually planning?

I keep it simple.

I’ve got my planner open to the current month where I write down anything important.

Appointments, things I can’t forget… anything like that.

And then I’ve got my phone calendar for meetings and training…

because let’s be real, if it’s only in my head? It’s gone 😂

I also kind of plan in layers.

Month to month, I start thinking about my content.

At the beginning of the week, I decide what I want to focus on and what I want to share.

And then daily?

I just show up and create.

That’s it.

And here’s where I used to get myself into trouble…

I used to overplan everything.

Like EVERYTHING.

I’d try to map out every detail, work crazy hours, and never actually feel caught up.

I was overwhelmed all the time.

And I never stuck to anything.

So I had to change that.

Now?

I plan what matters… and I let the rest be flexible.

Meals? Planned… but changeable.
Work? Structured… but not rigid.
Rest? Planned… because I need it.

Because real life doesn’t always follow the plan.

And honestly?

I kind of expect things to go wrong now 😏

I actually plan for it.

So when something doesn’t go the way I thought?

I don’t spiral.

I just shrug and move on.

And that alone has helped my anxiety more than anything.

Because I’m not trying to control everything anymore.

I’m just giving myself a direction.

If there’s one thing I want you to take from this…

👉 stop trying to be who you think people want you to be

Start with being YOU.

That’s your starting point.

And when it comes to planning your life?

It doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just has to work for you.

Do your best.
Be yourself.
And focus on consistency over perfection.
